In the MIddle Ages, this is what tilling fields would look like.

In the Middle Ages, crops included:

  • wheat
  • beans
  • barley
  • peas
  • oats

Planting seed

Farmers would use "beasts of burden", like oxen or horses, to do work that was too much  for them.
